Making Christmas special for some 70 children united by the Love and Care Feeding Scheme
How many of us can honestly say that we've gone hungry because we could not find anything to eat? Imagine being a parent and not being able to feed your child - unthinkable! Yet this is the reality in communities across the country and it is often much closer than we think.
In Elandspoort in Pretoria, the Soul Purpose Ministries have established the "Love & Care" feeding scheme, where 65 children get a meal every day. More children check in from time to time, but there are 33 girls and 32 boys who are fed regularly by the scheme. The people who care for these children want to make their Christmas as special as possible and that's why they contacted Good Morning Angels. This morning Instantlife.co.za will make sure that these boys and girls experience the joy of Christmas!
Instantlife.co.za will contribute R20,000 towards buying Christmas gifts, necessities and food for the children at the Love and Care Feeding Scheme

Anna is a domestic helper and lives with the Beukes family, where she works twice a week. Her son, Nicholas, was in boarding school and would visit every school holiday. The plan was that he would move in with Anna and go to a nearby school from next year, as she was not happy with the standard of care and food in the dorm. Nicholas and some of his dorm mates recently fell ill due to food poisoning. The ultimate tragedy happened ... Nicholas passed away. Anna is in the process of taking legal action to prevent this from happening to another child - but her loss is immense.

Instantlife.co.za will contribute R 10,000 towards the funeral and other costs
Giving a struggling family a happy Christmas
Too often these days that people lose their jobs. Parents, breadwinners and caregivers lose their income and it affects the entire family. In the case of Belinda and Clive they both lost their jobs this past year. The entire family of five's livelihood gone! Imagine being without income for just one or two months - they have been in this situation for a while now, with no indication that the situation will change soon. It has deteriorated to such a point that they might loose their rented home - even though they save on necessities like food. The parents often go to bed without eating.
Instantlife.co.za and Medshield Distribution Services will give this family some relief, to at least be able to spend Christmas in their home with enough food to enjoy a Christmas without hunger.
To help out, Instantlife.co.za and Medshield Distribution Services have donated R15,000 to this family in need
All this family wants for Christmas is their lights back on
Many people start up their own business in an attempt to create employment or to increase their income, but these don't always work out. Sometimes hard work and dedication alone is not enough. That's what happened to Belinda and her husband, and this has left them with an enormous financial shortfall. They save on many things that are often taken for granted. She walks her three children to and from school and her husband walks to work as often as he can to save on petrol money.
They have fallen behind on their municipal bill and their power has been cut off for the past few months. A friend has written to Good Morning Angels to ask for assistance with this bill - because their greatest wish this Christmas is to have their home lights back on. Instantlife.co.za and Medshield Distribution Services will help to make this which come true.

Helping young Angelique hear her teachers
9 year old Angelique Smith is ready to go to Grade 4 next year. She's had some difficulty in school with "understanding" her teacher's lessons, but there is nothing wrong with her comprehension .... that's how her parents discovered that she has a hearing problem. She could hardly hear what her teacher was saying! She needs a hearing aid and the medical aid only covers a fraction ... the R15 000,00 that they are short is a bridge too far.
Her mother, Elise is a nail technician from home. She's entered competitions in a local magazine to "win" one. Angelique has managed to raise R60 in a fund raising tin, that she put in her mother's nail room. At this rate however, she would have to go through another year in class, without "understanding". Instantlife.co.za and Medshield Distribution Services will make Angelique's wish for hearing a reality by covering the cost of her hearing aid
Instantlife.co.za and Medshield Distribution Services have donated R15,000 to help get their lights back on for Christmas
